According to
ReadWriteWeb, RIM was originally thinking of using
Google’s Dalvik which is a Java software that would let the tablet to use Android apps. Though, due to the Google and Oracle patent suit regarding the software, Bloomberg reports that RIM is building its own software internally. This would help RIM inject over 130,000 apps in their selection.
Blackberry Playbook has two HD cameras, a 7-inch touch display and runs the
QNX-based operating system. The tablet will be released sometime in May.
